Time is moving, but we are not.

It's been a busy summer. While Trever is off exploring Marlee and I have been fending for ourselves. We were excited to have a visitor in June. Uncle Teo came for a few weeks to keep us company and spoil Marlee.

We did lots of exploring, hiking and time at the beach. It was great to have the company. Marlee of course loved it. After Uncle Teo went home she woke up the next morning and asked if we could go and pick him up from the airport.

Not even a week later we packed up and headed to the mainland for an extended trip. First we got to spend time with Trever's parents. Of course Marlee got spoiled. She was introduced to lots of animals. Was chased by a rooster and got to ride her first pony.
We even had some friends stop by and see us while there. After celebrating Gramps' birthday we headed to my parents. Most of my siblings were in town and all but one of Marlee's cousins on my side. There were boat rides, irrigation, pet rats, berry picking, and helping her Papa and Mamu with anything they were doing.
Her big personality was evident and she had a great time exploring and playing. We always love time with family, but have to return home eventually.

Time is ticking by and eventually Trever will return home to us. Until then it is confirmed that he has new orders, but we are not moving. We are staying put for now and for the next 3 years. We've never lived anywhere longer than 4 years, so we will now surpass that.
